Enjoying life

So I've been here for a little over 3 weeks now.  Sorry for being slack in posting but, as I've said before, its not one of my strong suits.
So far I'm loving China!  The city I'm in is Xinzheng (pronounced shin-jung), I love the people here and am very glad that there is a community of teachers that all live close by.  So far I haven't really been exploring too much.  I'm still trying to get settled in (I know...but it takes me a while).  There are some great people here and I've made some awesome new friends.  I've even gotten to know people that I already "knew" even better.
Its kind of funny but the Erskine community is strong here!  From the tiny town of Due West, SC, there are 6 people, including myself.  Tomorrow I'm going to the Xiaolangdi Dam, on the Yellow River. I'll do my best to take pictures. This will be the first 'real' trip outside the city for me. I say 'real' because I've been to Zhengzhou (pronounced jung-joe) twice. Zhengzhou is the big city near Xinzheng. We go there on the weekends to go shopping or just hang out and relax away from campus. They have a Wal-mart, Home Depot, and other large stores that are reminiscent of a Sam's Club.
